How to Use the New Patron Search
Hello everyone, my name is Callie and I’m a member of the ThunderTix customer support team. I’m very excited to announce that we have upgraded our patron search.
You can now chain filters together to zero in on your audience and create more targeted marketing than ever before. And just like always, you can still send mass mail through Mailchimp or Constant Contact or directly from ThunderTix.
Let’s jump in.
Welcome to the new Patron Search by ThunderTix. As you can see, I’ve already started using it by location. I entered in the zip code 78799.
And this pulls a list of all active patrons that have purchased tickets within that zip code. If I want to close out of it, I can click the X button and that will clear all of my search criteria.
If we want to take it a step further, I can search by event purchase. So for this purpose, I will ask for “Once on This Island, Part Two”, and see your search criteria is populating up here as well.
And then if I want to see the date range that they’ve purchased. So let’s say I want to see who has purchased tickets the entire month of August.
I could do that here. Finally, I can also search by genre or classification. So let’s say I want to see all donors who have purchased tickets.
And I go to search. Then I just see the two people that have donated. I can also search by a specific campaign as well, so let’s say that the campaign I want to search for is the “Island Cleanup Fund”
We’ll search for that and only one person is going to come up because they are the only one that fits that criteria that I have specified.
I also wanted to very quickly go over the buttons that you see up here in the top right corner. Export results is going to export all of the results that the criteria fit to send to.
You can do this to send to MailChimp or Constant Contact, as we mentioned. You can send a mass mail to this patron, and you can also create a customer here as well.
